JOB SUMMARY

The Systems Analyst is responsible for all aspects of technical oversight of Active Directory and Messaging environments (cloud and premise).  Deep and broad understanding of O365 technologies, including Exchange and Azure AD.  Ability to manage performance of environments and offshore teams tasked with operational delivery and support.

 
CANDIDATE PROFILE
 
Education and Experience
 
Required:
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field and/or equivalent experience/certification.  A deep understanding of integrating emerging technology into a large scale environment using both on premise and cloud infrastructure.
  • 6+ years of technology experience.
  • 4+ years of experience/knowledge of Microsoft e-mail environment (on-premise and cloud) within a Fortune 250 company with significant scale.
  • 3+ years of experience managing large scale Active Directory environments.
  • 3+ years of experience with enterprise class cloud and hosted services such as Office 365, AWS, Azure.
  • Demonstrable ability to build and craft virtual and automatic capabilities that support end user computing platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience with scripting leveraging .NET, Powershell, or relevant tools.
  • Experience collaborating and engaging remote/offshore development and support teams.
Preferred:
  • Ability to assess and resolve complex problems.
  • Familiarity with global, diverse, customer centric work cultures.
  • Articulate complex ideas into easy to understand and intuitive business terms.
  • Demonstrates strong executive presence and critical thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in researching emerging technologies and trends, standards, and products

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

  • Manage and configure systems in Microsoft Azure and other public cloud offerings; work closely with engineering counterparts to ensure stable platforms are delivered.
  • Administer systems both on-prem and in the cloud through the use of Powershell.
  • Analyze user behaviors, industry trends, and other data points to continuously improve the Exchange environments.
  • Modify your approach to handle diverse customers, priorities, and situations.
  • Present to executives, influencers, and other key partners in a clear, concise, significant manner.
  • Incorporate knowledge of border and perimeter services to ensure our data is secure.
  • Understand how Microsoft services influence fax, print, mobile devices, and security services.
  • Recruit and represent technology to our business customers.
  • Partner, network, and collaborate with business and other technology resources to enhance, engineer, and optimize your platform.
  • Develop, execute, and validate scripting for reporting, data collection, and performance analysis.
  • Facilitate the successful integration of all engineering activities into the Service Transition process.
  • Validate systems design packages, troubleshooting diagrams, run books, and 15-minute drills for service restoration.
  • Demonstrates authoritative knowledge of messaging (Microsoft Exchange) and mail border solutions.
