JOB SUMMARY                                                                                                                                                                      
The Pricing & Account Services Support Specialists play a critical role in supporting the team managers, leadership and the MarRFP system. These individuals are important as they need to possess an overarching skillset that allows them to have knowledge across various aspects of pricing and department functions. They need to understand Revenue Management concepts and the sales roles that we support.  The Pricing & Account Services Support Specialists help maintain the infrastructure of the daily tasks needed to ensure the work is executed which allows for strategies and overall support to be provided to the sales and hotels globally that centrally price in MarRFP.
 
JOB SPECIFIC TASKS
•        Manage PAS support inbox and ensure that established SLA’s are met
•        Support on RFP/Add-on/Renegotiations file Uploads
•        Support for GDS audits
•        Support for account profile changes  due to pricing cycle changes
•        Execute on Hotel/Brand & currency conversions
•        Support room pool changes
•        HPP offer set-up, validation and MarRFP program support
•        Brand support on room pool maintenance
•        Process GDS audit violators & extend GPP deeper discounts
•        Support on any assigned department initiatives: i.e. FS Bed Type Initiative, BT Booking Cost, Brand Migrations….
•        QA auditing of hotel profiles and system information
•        PTO support coverage
 
CANDIDATE PROFILE 
Successful candidates should possess knowledge and experience and demonstrate strong leadership and relationship skills as follows:
Knowledge and Experience:
•        Solid understanding of Revenue Management & Sales concepts and pricing philosophies
•        Proficient knowledge of PC software including email, word processing, presentation and spreadsheet software
•        Proficient in Excel
•        Advanced understanding of Marriott’s systems, “MARSHA/HPP/EPIC/GDS”
•        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
•        Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•        Effective listening skills and a willingness to encourage ideas and resolve conflicts in a positive manner
•        Demonstrate self-confidence, high energy, and enthusiasm
•        Ability to present ideas, expectations and information in a concise, well-organized manner
•         Detail oriented and able to manage multiple tasks at one time
